Speakers from Fraunhofer IWU, EPP-Forum e.V. and Thought3D Ltd will investigate the latest innovations in high-performance foam materials such as PET, PMI, aluminium and beaded foams, among many others, as well as looking at advances in legacy foams such as PU, EPS and PVC. 


10:30: Round-table: Investigating the Potential for Additive Manufacturing in the Foam Industry

This 360 session will give delegates the opportunity to speak with additive manufacturing technology developers and together investigate how this technology can be transferred into the foam industry - led by speakers from Crocs and Thought3D Ltd.


11:45: Workshop: Bonding of Foam with Other Materials

R&D Director EA EIMEA from H.B Fuller will take the audience through the features to look out for when selecting an adhesive for their application.


13:45: Round-table: Reimagining Foams and Examining (New) Porcessing Technologies They Require

This session brings together speakers from Fraunhofer ICT, Promix Solutions AG, Diab and Sulzer Chemtech Ltd to discuss new processing requirements and how different chemical and physical foaming processes can be tailored to allow production of new materials. 


15:15 Material Jam Sessions Continued

Presenters from JSP, BASF SE, Diab Int AB and Interep will outline their foam technologies to the audience, focusing on new materials for applications that have a competitive advantage in lightweighting, sustainability and high-performance, before answering questions from the audience.
